Top Gun Sprint Car Series News Update

| The TGSCS will be making their first appearance at the super fast 1/3 mile semi-banked East Bay Raceway Park on Saturday, May 9th. The race at East Bay will be the third show for the series. The Top Gun Sprints will be joined by the Florida Mini-Sprints, Street Stocks, 4 Cylinder Bombers, Dirt Daubers and Vintage Sprints & Modifieds. Racing starts at 6:30pm. After two races Ryan Partin has a slim six point lead over second place. The top six drivers in the points are Ryan Partin, Tony Agin, Matt Kurtz, Troy Knowles, Otto Scrape and Larry Pickett, with only a 32 point spread from first to sixth. This will be the third and final time for the 35 or harder tire in the tire grace period. The tire rule for the remainder of the 2009 season will be the following: Right Rear – 104/17-15 DT3 Hoosier Left Rear – Any tire that punches 35 or harder Fronts – Any tire The next Top Gun Sprint race will be on June 27 at the 4/10 mile, banked North FL.
